Okay Fine

/Sigh
Altogether too easily, my one reader has convinced me that it would be fine to post my most recent poem. Thus, it is below.
The edit has been made. See what you think.

Passage
All things must pass away.
Night to day,
And even night does not stay.
But His love endures forever.

All things must pass away.
The wind ever blows,
The water ever flows.
But His love endures forever.

All things must pass away.
Life gives way to death,
And even death will draw a final breath.
But His love endures forever.

All things must pass away.
But hope is certain, for surely
His love endures forever.

I hope you enjoyed that! Also, I love to get feedback about the things I write, so if you have any comments, feel free to share them. :)

That was delightfully intriguing. I enjoy the mood of it, and I read it as I looked out my window at the dreary rain which definitely added something..

Hey! A second reader! Awesome! :)
Anyway, thanks for the comments. And now that you mention it, a rainy day outside would definately add something to it. :)

"All too easy." Indeed. I'm the master of manipulation. It's now mine! MINE!!!! ;)

Actually, it was a little redundant. lol ;) But it had good meaning. :)

Yeah. I was wondering if the second repetition per stanza was a little much. It would probably be better if I were to omit the second "all things must pass away" per stanza, and perhaps expand the in between parts a bit more. Perhaps I will work on it some more, or just leave it and do something different. ;)
