Sadly, it's not nearly as exciting as the header makes it seems it should be. One thing "in the works" is a get together I'm trying to set up for tonight. I'm optimistic about it, and it should be fun. The Faultersacks have been gone for a while, so it'll be cool to hang out with them.
Also in the works is my new RPG. It only took me about two hours to invent, and I have high hopes for it. Interestingly enough, Michael and I came up with almost exactly the same system independently. We agree that this is simply because the both of us have simply come across the ultimate game system. Of course, they're not quite exactly the same, but the differences are minor, and they have the same base concept. I'm secretly hoping (except for here) that I'll get to try it out tonight.
One last thing in the works is my composition. I've gotten to the last section of it and I'm having some troubles. First, this is pretty much my first composition, so I lack experience and knowledge. Also, some of the things I want to do rather transcend my ability to play, which makes it much more difficult to write. Hopefully, though, I'll be able to come up with something. Once I have that done, the next step will be to write it up on the computer. After all, the organization of my handwritten copy is less than stunning.

Dang I really am bummed I won't be able to try out your RPG. I would ask you not to play it tonight but that would be selfish. Actually I don't really care. If you do play, it will give me time to think about a character as well as give you a chance to iron out the wrinkles... heh heh.
Composition? =) Sounds exciting! When it's finished (whenever that may be), I expect to be promptly emailed either a recording of it, or if it's for the piano (and only the piano) the music for it. =) Just so you're aware.
Failure to send it may result in you being beaten, verbally or otherwise. ;)
We did play the RPG and it seemed to be a smashing hit. :D I'm exciting about it. I really think the Sci-Fi theme was a good idea.
Indeed! It will be for piano solo, so I will definately send you a copy of the sheet music. I don't think I'll be able to get a recording, but if you have the music it should be okay. :) In fact, I could send you "sampler" of sorts. I scanned the handwritten stuff I've done so far and it came out better than I thought it would. All you'd have to contend with then is my sloppy handwriting and the terribly disorganized format of the piece. ;)
