Children

I have noticed this before: children are wonderful.
I would even hazard to say that they are superior beings to adults, and here is why: they are innocent. They have innocent, vivacious, curious, joyous, trusting minds and personalities. I think this is the primary reason why they are so lovable, and why it is so terrible to be mean to them.

I'm sure that's completely obvious, and you all had that all figured out long ago, but it just "formalized" itself in my mind, that the wonder of children is their innocence.

However when we are born we are terrible, vicious, untamed, and wild beings. But thanks to or parents[example] they curve that natural wildness and socialize us. So yes, what you're saying is true, but I just thought I would point out that if we were left wit no guidence we would be like the Dark seekers from I Am Legend. (Ok bad example but you get my meaning I'm sure)

Superior beings? No. Wonderful? Yes. They have a naive innocence, not an actual innocence. That's one of the main reasons I want to home-school my kids - they maintain that innocence longer. They don't know what things mean or are, and thus are happier.

Geez, you people. I was so happy in my childish little bubble. But could you leave me there? Noooooo! You just had to come along with your sharp little pig hunting sticks and pop it. ;)
. . . .And yes, based on things like common sense, Lord of the Flies, and the Bible I must concede that I agree with both of you. But I still hold that kids are kewl, and that the rest is hyperbole! :P :)

Don't get me wrong, I wish I could always be a kid. :) The only good thing about becoming older is, it is more likely you'll die and go to heaven.

What? I didn't pop your bubble, I just qualified it. . .

Qualified it? Um, yeah, sure, totally (whatever THAT means).

Meh, you'd die anyway at some point. And at the second coming it'd the same effect anyway. ;)

Also, I should clarify that kids only seem like superior beings when they're not brats, because if they are it's just annoying. ;)

Also-yes I too think it is wonderful being a kid-in your buble-i was a brat as a kid and really did love my braty buble-oh yeah, i guess i loved it so much i'm still in it :P See you could just be as i am and never grow up! Its fun-you get all sorts of funny looks when you go places-but its all worth it in the end :P

lol I'm just working on a split personality. One grown up, and the other childish, so that I can function in normal society when I have to, but then also be able to hang out with you guys! ;)
