Got 'er Done

I've finally come up with the ending to my piece. There are one or two little rough spots that still need some smoothing out (and some that don't. . .hehe), but it's pretty much finished. :D Also, it has a happy ending which I think works very nicely after the rather turbulent and dark second half of the piece. There isn't a terribly large amount of happy material in the thing, but it wins out in the end. :) I'm also excited that I managed to stuff two cadenzas into the piece. But don't worry, they're not very difficult. I just need to work out a good fingering for the second one. :P I'm also quite happy with the left hand that I came up with for the second to last section. It sounds much better than what I had planned out originally, and it's easier too--my favorite combination. Hmm, I think that of the people I would send this to, only Varda reads this blog for sure, so Jenn, once I get it written up I'm going to need your help looking for typos since I'll often have to be writing the music in the wrong clef and asking the performer to read the music in the other clef. :P Also, since I wrote the piece it'll be hard for me to look at and play what I've written instead of what I know should be there, so, I'm depending one you! (and everyone else even thought they're likely not reading this hehe) Anyway, I should be going now, so, have a great day, and a merry new, um, more of today!
